A strong storm killed six in Europe

Six people were killed in Europe by a storm which disrupted air and rail transport in Britain where many flights were canceled at Gatwick Airport with attempts of thousands to travel to celebrate Christmas with their families.

The UK authorities have confirmed that the bad weather has led to cut power to approximately 100,000 people in the south and hundreds of cars were suspended in the streets by rainwater.

Approximately 130,000 people in the province of Brittany in France have suffered from the same problem electricity after heavy storm has uprooted trees and damaged electricity cables.
In Spain, a local train is slightly out of track in Galicia (northwest).
